Polish cardboard packaging maker Rawibox S.A. has signed a deal to purchase two land plots with a total surface of more than 80,000 square metres in the Jasienicka low-emission economic zone.
The packaging producer paid about PLN 12.2 million (€2.9 million) for the land, and it plans to use it to build a new plant. Locating the facility within the economic zone will provide Rawibox with preferen-tial tax treatment for its investment.
Based in Rawicz, in western Poland, Rawibox has been part of Ger-many’s Rossmann Group since 1997.
