Romanian manufacturer to launch cardboard production

Romanian cellulose maker FCH has un-veiled plans to launch cardboard production and take on about 150 new employees at its plant in Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Romania.

To date, the company’s owner, local businessman Constantin Izvoranu, has invested €30 million with the aim to modernise and increase the output capacity of the plant. The factory is currently operated by a workforce of about 400, according to the information obtained by local broadcaster Digi24.

Under the plan, cardboard production in Drobeta-Turnu Severin will be launched in early 2017.
