Belgium-based specialty papermaker Idempapers SA said that it will increase the price for its carbonless products in sheets up to 5%, effective with deliveries November 14.
In a press release, the company announced, “Despite the price increases already implemented during the past months, the volatile UK currency has impacted our margins and we are forced to implement a further price correction. The today Pound/Euro Exchange Rate is more than 20% lower than it used be a year ago.”
Idempaper’s sales team will shortly be contacting all customers to discuss the details of this increase.
Idempapers, a newly independent paper company located in Belgium's Walloon Brabant region, produces high-value specialty papers such as carbonless and one-side coated products.
