Corrugated cardboard packaging maker VPK Packaging Salonta has improved its sales in Romania in 2018, reporting revenues of some RON 148 million (€32 million), a robust increase of 23% compared with its figure for a year earlier.
Compared with a year earlier, the Belgian-owned manufacturer also increased its loss in 2018 in the Romanian market, at RON 516,000 (€111,000), up from the RON 423,000 (€93,000) the company posted in 2017, according to data obtained by local business daily Ziarul Financiar.
The plant in Salonta is located in Romania's north-western part.
