Sofidel Romania, a local subsidiary of Italy’s tissue paper maker, has reported improved financial results for 2018. Last year, the offshoot posted sales of more than RON 243 million ($57 million), an increase of 3.3% compared with a year earlier.
In spite of the increase in sales, the Romania-based manufacturer maintained its workforce at the level of 259 employees, according to the information obtained by local business daily Ziarul Financiar.
Sofidel Romania’s product range includes a number of tissue paper brands. These include Onda, Regina, and Volare.
