Mitsubishi HiTec Paper recently announced that it will increase prices for its entire Thermoscript thermal paper product range by up to 15%. This price adjustment applies worldwide for deliveries from April 1, 2018.
The price hikes are “due to further increases in pulp costs and the extremely high cost increase for colour formers,” according to Mitsubishi.
Mitsubishi HiTec Paper Europe is a German subsidiary of Mitsubishi Paper Mills Ltd., Japan. The company produces produce high-quality direct thermal, digital imaging, carbonless, label and barrier papers at two locations in Bielefeld and Flensburg in Germany.
