Austrian corrugated cardboard maker to open new plant

Austrian-owned corrugated cardboard maker Dunapack Rambox has signed a deal to purchase a land plot of about 115,000 square metres to build a new plant in Bolintin, Romania.

Together with the company’s factory in Sfantu Gheorghe, Romania, the two plants are to have a total production capacity of some 300 million square metres per year, according to the information obtained by local news site Romania-Insider.com. The amount of the planned project was not disclosed.

Dunapack Rambox is part of the Dunapack Packaging Group which says it is one of the biggest producers of corrugated and micro-corrugated cardboard on the Romania
