ProJet, Meerssen, Netherlands and Manitowoc, Wisconsin, USA have succesfully started up a total of 4 Power Cleaners at PT. Pakerin, Indonesia. A Power Cleaner is a continuous cleaning device for Dryer Fabrics.

PT Pakerin already had 4 Power Cleaners running on their biggest machine, PM6. Now, another 4 units were installed on PM3 and PM5. All machines produce Corrugated Medium and Kraftliner, using 100% OCC. OCC is known for its extreme contamination on the 1st and 2nd Dryer Sections, which is exactly the reason that Pakerin chose ProJet again as its preferred supplier for cleaning equipment, because the Power Cleaner provides the highest cleaning efficiency available.

The Power Cleaner uses a single traversing head that cover the fabrics using up to 14 ruby nozzles at a pressure of maximum 500 bar (7,500psi). Air knives and a Venturi-vacuum-system make sure all water and debris is effectively discharged into a save-all and from there, outside the machine.

While these Cleaners at Pakerin were successfully started up, in Q3, 2017, ProJet received more orders in Q3 for Power Cleaners from:

Smurfit Kappa, Mexico

Siam Kraft, Thailand

Daio Paper, Japan

Nippon Paper, Japan

Graphic Packaging, USA

BioPappel, Mexico

Sappi, USA

Papelsa, Colombia

Daemyung, Korea

All above systems are expected to be delivered by end of 2017 and beginning of 2018.
