DS Smith launches €2.3M Polish cardboard investment

DS Smith has opened a new production hall at its plant in Kielce, Poland. The investment is worth some PLN 10 million (€2.3 million), allowing the manufacturer to raise its output of cardboard packaging for various industries.

The new production hall is fitted with a total surface of more than 5,600 square metres, expanding the factory’s surface of about 85,000 square metres. The plant’s output is supplied to the automotive, electronics and logistics industries, among others, according to local news site Rynekpapierniczy.pl.

The plant in Kielce is operated by the company’s local subsidiary DS Smith Polska.
