Romanian businessman eyes €3.3M paper packaging plant

New manufacturing project Romanian businessman Cristian Laz-ar has unveiled plans to invest some €3.3 million wih the aim to open a new paper packaging factory in the Satu Mare county, in Romania’s northern part.

Under the plan, the funds are to be provided by a German partner, with the European Union expected to allocate an investment grant, reports local business daily Ziarul Financiar.

The plant will be built on a land plot of about 2,000 square metres, and it is to be operated by a workforce of some 60 workers.
