Czech paper machine maker Papcel a.s. has an-nounced plans to raise its sales to CZK 2 billion (€77 million) this year, up 43% from CZK 1.4 billion last year. This is related to the company’s acquisitions of foreign-based manufacturers and the numerous export contracts it obtained in the past months.

By 2020, Papcel aims to further raise its sales to CZK 3 billion, ac-cording to David Dostál, the company’s director general.

“We expect the growth in the consumption of hygenic paper to con-tinue, in particular in Asia,” Dostál told local daily Mladá fronta Dnes.
