Arauco’s net income for the 2Q 2016 was $57.5 million, an increase of 8.6%, or $4.5 million compared to the $52.9 million obtained in the 1Q of this year.
Revenues reached $1,207.3 million during the 2Q 2016 compared with the $1,146 million in the previous quarter, thanks to an improvement in its revenues from the pulp, wood products, and forestry businesses.
Adjusted EBITDA for the 2Q 2016 was $283.4 million, 12.1%, or $30.6 million higher than the $252.8 million reached during the previous quarter. Adjusted EBITDA for the 2Q 2016 was lower by 17.5%, or $60 million when compared with the $343.3 million reached in the same period of 2015.
