Pro-Gest has finalised the acquisition of Burgo’s closed Mantua mill in Italy and intends to start producing recycled containerboard in the summer of 2016. According to Euwid, this will add 420,000 tpy of capacity to the market.
The former newsprint mill in Mantua, Italy, has been idle since February 2013. The mill will be brought back to life in the summer of 2016.
The company will produce recycled corrugated case material in grammages of 70-140 g/m² in Mantua, according to Euwid.
