Kadant Solutions has introduced CeraEdge creping blade line, L creping blade and S creping blade, for use in tissue production.
“The new CeraEdge creping blades fit nicely in Kadant’s product portfolio for tissue producers, which includes Yankee doctor systems and holders, spray booms, suction pressure roll doctors, steam and condensate equipment, and technical service,” said, Jerry Vandoros, Product Manager, Kadant Solutions.
The CeraEdge L creping blade is useful for tissue applications that require extended blade life as well as high productivity while the S creping blade is recommended for tissue applications requiring high softness, according to the company report.
Vandoros added, “The timing is perfect for launching the CeraEdge creping blade line. There are more metallized Yankee surfaces being installed and some of the new manufacturing processes put high demands on creping blade performance.”
