Czech paper machine producer Parcel has signed a contract to modernise the paper machine of Egypt’s paper industry player Rakta.
Under the plan, the machine is to be relaunched in May 2020, the Czech manufacturer said in a statement.
The value of the latest contract was not disclosed by Papcel. How-ever, the Czech producer said that it negotiated with the Egyptian company for more than 3 years.
Owing to the upgrade, Rakta’s machine will be enabled with a ca-pacity of 200 tonnes per year, according to data released by Papcel.
