KSPA relaunches paper mill in Sri Lanka

Production activities initiated South Korean-owned KSPA has re-launched operations at the Embilipitiya paper mill in Sri Lanka which was idle for some 10 years.

 

The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI) has praised the company’s investment in the paper mill, local news site Newswire.lk reported.

 

“The transformation into manufacturing industrial-grade paper marks a turning point in Sri Lanka’s rich history making Sri Lanka self-sufficient in Industrial paper manufacturing and conserving much-needed forex for the country,” the BOI added in a statement on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

KSPA signed a deal with the BOI with regards to the paper mill in 2022.
