Turkey's packaging paper manufacturer Modern Karton, a member of the Eren Group, has started production on its new recycled containerboard machine recently, Euwid reports. The new machine has a web width of almost 8.2 m and can produce 400,000 tpy of fluting and testliner with basis weights of 70-160 g/m².
Supplier of the new machine, PM5, was Voith Paper. According to Voith.
PM 5 features a two line modern stock preparation system specially designed to handle a high percentage of rejects in recovered paper in Turkey.
