Arauco’s revenues reached $1,331.3 million during the 4Q 2017, a 4.5% decrease compared to the $1,393.4 million obtained in the 3Q 2017. And an increase of 9.1% compared to the $1,220.6 obtained in the same quarter of 2016.
Net income reached $83.2 million, a decrease of 44% or $65.2 million compared to the $148.4 million obtained in the 3Q 2017. And an increase of 9.8%, or $7.4 million compared to the same quarter of 2016.
Adjusted EBITDA for the 4Q 2017 was $344.5 million, 12% or $47.1 million lower than the $391.6 million reached during the previous quarter. Adjusted EBITDA increased 32.6%, or $84.7 million compared to the 4Q 2016, mainly due to higher pulp prices of 30.1% compared to the same quarter in 2016.
