Pro-Gest's Mantua mill in Italy, designed to produce packaging paper in the future, will not start up before the first half of next year, according to Euwid.

According to Pro-Gest, its Mantua packaging paper mill will start operating in the first half of 2017. The company had originally planned to start production by the end of this year.

Burgo’s former newsprint mill was acquired by Pro-Gest in June 2015. Accoring to Euwid, the company is currently dismantling the existing machine and will install a new paper machine to produce lightweight recycled containerboard with a net capacity of 500,000 tpy.
