Schumacher Packaging re-launches Polish paper plant
German cardboard packaging maker Schu-macher Packaging has launched production at its paper plant in Myszków, Poland.
In the first phase of the re-launch, the factory is to produce some 150,000 tonnes of paper per year. Within the next five to seven years, the facility’s output is to be further raised to as much as 300,000 tonnes per year, according to the information obtained by local daily Dziennik Zachodni. Currently, the plant is operated by a workforce of betwen 150 and 160 employees.
The German group acquired the facility under an investment worth about €100 million in late 2016.
