New paper mill to be constructed in Eastern Germany

According to Euwid Paper, Progroup will build its new paper mill in Sandersdorf-Brehna near Bitterfeld in Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany. Construction is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2019.

The investment amounts to a total of €375 million for the construction of the paper machine, according to Euwid. The machine will produce recycled fluting and testliner within the grammage range of 80 to 150 g/m2 with an annual output capacity of 750,000 t  and a working width of 9.20 m.
