Papeterie Raon placed in liquidation
After being in receivership for some time, Papeterie Raon has now been placed in liquidation, according to Euwid. The French mill used to produce specialty packaging paper such as paper bags.
Production at the mill had been stopped, a spokesman has told Euwid.
Papeterie Raon is a manufacturer of specialty paper for packaging applications, especially for food packaging The portfolio included, amongst others, Mc Donald's takeout bags, bakery bags and paper tablecloths. The mill operated two paper machines which have a combined capacity of 50,000 tpy. The site had 67 employees.
