Polish packaging maker to expand plant

Polish paper and cardboard packaging producer Arka-Druk has announced plans to expand its factory to make prod-ucts for the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.


The company aims to invest about PLN 7 million (€1.7 million) and increase its facility’s surface to about 5,500 square metres.


Currently, the company’s factory is operated by some 95 employees. As part of the investment, about 50 new jobs are to be created at the plant.


Under the plan, the project will be carried out in the Łapy subzone of the Tarnobrzeg special economic zone (TSEZ), according to the in-formation released by Poland’s Łapy municipality.
