New integrated tissue paper mill to be built in Hungary
After a long and severe examination process, the Hungarian Ministry of National Economy had selected Vajda Papir’s investment plan for an integrated hygiene paper manufacturing site as from national economical perspective preferred one and decided to support it with 4,5 billion HUF non-refundable contribution in the program of the National Enterprise Investment Scheme. From the total 11 billion HUF investment, Vajda Papir will build Hungary’s biggest and most modern integrated hygiene paper production site
The long-time planned factory project and the related developments will not only play an important role in the performance of the Hungarian economy, foster and stimulate national GDP, but also creates over 100 new jobs and contribute to a more successful and thriving local community in the region of Dunaföldvár.
The ceremony of the laying of the foundation-stone took place on 12th June 2017 in the presence of our guest of honor, Mr. Mihály Varga, Minister of National Economy. As he stated: “the government supports the investment with 4,5 billion HUF as a part of the program that targets those Hungarian big enterprises that do not fall under the conditions for financing subsidies from the EU.
