Poland’s Abek launches tissue paper plant

Polish tissue paper maker Abek sp. z o.o. has launched a new production facility in Drawsko Pomor-skie, in Poland’s Western Pomerania region.

The investment is worth more than PLN 14.2 million (€3.2 million), of which close to PLN 6.4 million (€1.4 million) was provided by the Eu-ropean Union, according to the information obtained by local news site Dsi.net.pl. Abek’s allocation from the EU covered more than 45% of the investment.

Abek is located in Mierzyn, in the country’s north-western part, about 508 km from Poland’s capital Warsaw.
