New deinked pulp mill to start up soon in France
The commercial start-up of Ecocis’ deinked pulp mill in Voreppe, France, is imminent. According to Euwid, the production is to be launched in the first week of March. The production would be running up slowly in order not to destabilize the market.
For a capacity of 140,000 t of deinked pulp, the company would have to acquire around 200,000 tpy of recovered paper.
Veolia subsidiary EPR is entrusted with recovered paper supply, but the mill will also be supplied from third-parties plants in neighbouring countries.
