Amazonas Florestal recently announced the appointment of new officers and the naming of new members to its Board of Directors.

The Company announced that it has appointed Nitin Amersey as its new CEO, replacing the interim CEO Ricardo Cortez. Mr. Amersey, with more than 30 years successful experience in the public arena as an officer and director with several concerns in agriculture and natural resources, will also be a member of the Company's Board. Ricardo Cortez remains as Chairman of the Board and Peter (Pepper) W. Stebbins returns to Amazonas Florestal as Chief Operating Officer and as a member of the Board.

Mr. Cortez stated: "The Company has made substantial progress and is working to becoming fully reporting as soon as possible. We plan on filing our registration statement (form S-1) by February 15th, 2016. I am also very pleased with the return of Pepper Stebbins. He will be instrumental in operating our Brazilian subsidiary, the acquisition of which is now being completed. This enables us to initiate and complete the carbon studies necessary to certify the Carbon Credits available on these properties in 2016. Mr. Amersey completes our management team and is a valuable addition to our Board, directing significant studies and further developing our Industrial Hemp and Wood subsidiaries."

"The Company has completed its audits and signed an Equity Line that will provide funding for its three business lines. It is poised to complete its Registration Statement and become fully reporting in the first quarter of 2016," Mr. Cortez concluded.

JC Ubieto, Director and Company IRO, said, "We continue moving forward and gaining traction, with new and improved management guidance to fulfill opportunities in all of our three business lines. We have engaged E & E Communications, founded and managed by Paul Knopick, to communicate our mission to our current shareholders and future investors. "
