Sappi Fine Paper Europe announces its position as Education Partner for EcoPrint 2012 (Berlin, 26 – 27 September 2012), the world’s first exhibition and event 100% focused on sustainable print business. Ecoprint has been organized in response to industry demand for an event dedicated to sustainability throughout the print supply and value chain. Sappi’s decision to become Education Partner reflects its commitment to sustainable production and regeneration.

Eric Van den Bruel, Marketing & Product Development Director, Sappi said, “We are very excited about the EcoPrint initiative. Sustainability is core to the print industry in general, but we need to work together to make sure that our industry is positioned as such. By bringing together all the elements of the print supply chain, EcoPrint will facilitate exchange and collaboration which is key to a strong sustainable future for our industry. Within Sappi, we are building on our successful Positivity Campaign launched last year to develop a more extensive sustainability focused website to capture all the efforts that we are making in that area. We look forward to launching it in the Autumn.”
