The major contracts for the building of the centre Energy Square have recently been signed. The companies Elvenite and Marilyn have been appointed in harsh competition to carry out the prestigious project.

Energy Square is an initiative launched by the industry cluster The Paper Province in the city of Karlstad, Sweden, for saving energy within the pulp and paper industry.

The centre is told to be the first in the world to focus on products and services for the pulp and paper industry.

The mission is to make the development of new products and services that reduces the energy consumption within the global pulp and paper industry more easy.

The centre will be a link between universities, research institutes and industry, bringing together knowledge, infrastructure and funds to the projects.
